Job Description
CAMS is part of the Associa family.
Blue Ridge Mountain Club Property Owner’s Association, a mountain community located in Boone, NC, managed by CAMS (Community Association Management Services) is in search of aPart-timeFitness Attendant.
The pay rate for this position is $15/hourly. The schedule is 3 days per week from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Setting up, maintaining, and cleaning fitness and recreation equipment
- Setting up and cleaning rooms for spa treatments
- Welcoming guests, explaining programs and activities
- Stocking and taking inventory
- Providing owners/guests with information about the community and the surrounding area
- Reporting and resolving complaints, maintaining attendance records, and ensuring rules and regulations are enforced
- Attendants may also assist with recreational programs and organize special events.
Requirements
- This individual needs to have an outgoing personality, knowledge of fitness and recreation is a plus, and the ability to communicate well and work with others
- Background or knowledge in business, recreation or hospitality related industries.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills and ability to assist members and guests with “concierge” level assistance for both in-house produced and out-of-house (third party vendor) excursions.
- Diplomatic and tactful, with an ability to calmly and professionally listen to members/guests concerns and to offer positive and compassionate solutions.
- Dependable, organized and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment, create fellowship and offer strategic contributions to the growth of the Property Owners Association and the Development Company.
- Excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and marketing skills
- Poised, gregarious and infectious attitude and ability to create a comfortable recreational environment for the members/guests we serve.
