PART-TIME CONTENT PRODUCER & EDITOR (NYC)

I’m currently building a lifestyle/travel content platform focused on aesthetic short-form content across TikTok & Instagram Reels and I’m looking for a creative NYC-based editor/content producer to help bring the vision to life.

Content style includes:

• Travel

• Restaurants

• Hotels

• Wellness/Pilates

• Lifestyle experiences

• NYC activities

• Cinematic aesthetic moments

The vibe is elevated, feminine, clean, visually pleasing, and social-first.

This role will begin primarily with editing existing footage from previous travels, restaurants, experiences, etc. and later evolve into occasional in-person filming around NYC (roughly 1–2x weekly).

I’m looking for someone who:

• Has a strong eye for aesthetic storytelling

• Understands modern TikTok/Reels pacing

• Is highly skilled with CapCut editing

• Understands lighting, angles, transitions, framing, and cinematic lifestyle content

• Naturally “gets” luxury/lifestyle creator content

• Can help creatively direct and capture moments during filming

• Is reliable, collaborative, and creative

You should NOT need heavy instruction on basic editing/style decisions. I’m looking for someone who already understands visual storytelling and current social media aesthetics.

Current workload:

• Approximately 4–5 edited short-form videos weekly using existing footage

• Flexible/very part-time

• Will later transition into filming + editing current content

NYC-based preferred since this will eventually include in-person filming.

Compensation:

This is a part-time, early-stage creative role with a budget of $300–$600/month, depending on experience and fit. This role is expected to grow over time as content output and responsibilities expand.
