Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Film 1–2 street interview shoots a week using scenarios we provide.
  • Get participants’ permission before filming and a signed release from everyone featured.
  • Shoot vertical video with clean audio and good lighting.
  • Deliver raw footage plus 3–5 edited shorts a week using CapCut or similar tools.
  • Pitch hooks, creative concepts, and relevant trends.
  • Keep interviews respectful and portray participants honestly.

Requirements

  • Create TikToks, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts.
  • Feel comfortable approaching people and respect anyone who declines.
  • Have a recent smartphone; a microphone is provided.
  • Study film, communications, or marketing—or can demonstrate the skills through your work.
  • Can attend in-person shoots in Pittsburgh.
