Description / Position Overview
Part-Time Business Support Specialist I (Marketing) - Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum
The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum is seeking a highly motivated and team orientated individual to support its marketing and donor communications efforts. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with dedicated staff and volunteers to build public trust, engagement, and investment in the CSPM’s mission. Working with CSPM staff, you will implement marketing ideas and activities to achieve the CSPM’s strategic goals.
  • This position is subject to budget required furloughs to be implemented in the 2026 calendar year.*
  • This is a .5 FTE position with benefits averaging 20 hours per week. Additional hours may be scheduled as needs arise. Regular and predictable schedule is an essential function in the performance of this job.*
As a Part-Time Business Support Specialist I, You Will
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and design agency to deliver, edit, and optimize marketing materials
  • Ensure the website is updated regularly and is easy to navigate; coordinate and implement any revision/update of the site with web designer
  • Coordinate with staff and other stakeholders to deliver content via social media, e.g. Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Monitor and coordinator customer service feedback on social media handles, Yelp, Trip Advisor and Google Reviews
  • Coordinate and deliver email, newsletters, and campaigns
  • Edit and update marketing collateral
  • Other duties as assigned

We Are Looking For Candidates Who Demonstrate
Knowledge of
  • Various social media tools, including Later, Facebook, X, YouTube, and Instagram as well as industry trends
  • Standard office technology and various software, including Microsoft Office and WordPress
  • Proper English usage, spelling, punctuation, and grammar
Ability to
  • Work independently and with a team
  • Multi-task and prioritize different department goals and initiatives
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships
Minimum Qualifications
  • Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade (high school diploma or GED).

  • Experience in Adobe InDesign
