Title: Paralegal - Real Estate/ Family Law

Location: Onsite in Brooklyn, NY

A growing, full-service law firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support a Partner with a practice focused on Real Estate and Family/Matrimonial Law. This position is ideal for someone with a strong real estate background who is interested in expanding into matrimonial law. Training in family law will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Draft pleadings, motions, judgments, financial statements, child support worksheets, and other legal documents.
• Assist with residential and commercial real estate transactions, including title review, closing preparation, and post-closing matters.
• Prepare discovery responses, document productions, and trial materials.
• Coordinate court filings, including electronic filings in state and family courts.
• Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, and closing schedules.
• Review financial records, bank statements, and real estate documents.
• Conduct client communication and assist with client intake.
• Coordinate with attorneys, lenders, title companies, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical case files.
• Support litigation and transactional matters while managing multiple priorities.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience.
• Prior experience supporting real estate transactions required.
• Interest or exposure to matrimonial/family law (training provided).
• Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• Experience with title review, closings, and real estate documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $60,000–$75,000 (commensurate with experience)
