Overview

This position is part-time intermittent work to assist the Department of Liquor and Lottery (DLL) office of compliance and enforcement in its regulatory compliance duties. Position is open to individuals 17 to 19 years of age.
Under the direct supervision of a DLL Investigator or DLL Sergeant, the compliance intern will attempt to purchase regulated products in order to licensee compliance with age verification, and other regulatory issues at DLL licensed establishments.

Parental / guardian consent required for persons under the age of 18.

DLL is looking for 1 intern in each geographic zone - North East VT / North West VT / Southern VT.

This position, Paid Intern - Liquor & Lottery - Temporary (Job Requisition #54371), is open to all State employees and external applicants. This is a temporary position. Temporary work is typically for variable hours, and is not expected to be full-time. The State does not guarantee 40 hours of work per week.
