Job Summary

Own referral-network expansion and admissions funnel across hospitals and providers with cross-functional collaboration to speed timely patient access.

  • Referral Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, and community organizations to source admissions.
  • Territory Outreach & Pipeline: Run a steady outreach cadence and manage the admissions funnel to hit monthly KPIs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align Admissions, Clinical, and Operations for smooth patient handoffs and discharge planning.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with referral partners across hospitals, physicians, behavioral health providers, community organizations, employers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Execute a consistent outreach schedule balancing relationship management with new business development in the assigned territory.
  • Represent Pegasus Treatment Center professionally at networking events, community meetings, health fairs, conferences, and educational presentations.
  • Conduct informative presentations regarding Pegasus Treatment Center services, levels of care, and treatment philosophy.
  • Manage referral communications and maintain accurate documentation using CRM software and mobile technology.
  • Collaborate with Admissions, Clinical, and Operations teams to facilitate timely admissions and ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Maintain regular communication regarding prospective admissions, referral activity, and individuals in the admissions pipeline.
  • Assist with discharge planning by identifying appropriate step-down services and maintaining relationships with continuing care providers.
  • Develop a working knowledge of substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and levels of care.
  • Respond promptly to referral inquiries, recognizing that communication may extend beyond standard business hours.
