Job Summary

Owns and drives the organic search engine across SEO, AEO, and GEO to grow traffic, leads, and revenue, while coordinating with Product, Engineering, Paid Media, and Partnerships to ensure brand-aligned, AI-aware content and measurement.

Growth Infrastructure: Define KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for traditional and AI-driven search to track impact.
Technical & Content Execution: Lead technical SEO, site architecture, schema, metadata, internal linking, and content optimization for traditional and AI-driven search.
Partnerships & Execution: Manage internal teams and external agencies, align with leadership, and ensure brand-aligned, E-E-A-T content.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and lead the organic search strategy across SEO, AEO, and GEO to drive traffic, leads, and revenue growth
Manage and mentor internal resources and/or agency partners
Own relationships with external SEO agencies and partners, including scope, performance, and optimization of spend
Define KPIs and success metrics aligned to business goals
Partner with leadership to align organic strategy with broader marketing initiatives
Oversee keyword strategy evolution to include intent-based and conversational search
Lead technical SEO efforts including site architecture and schema
Ensure best practices across metadata, internal linking, and indexation
Guide development of content optimized for both traditional search and AI-driven platforms
Partner with content teams to create structured, authoritative content

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
8+ years of SEO experience
Proven track record of driving organic growth
Strong understanding of technical SEO and analytics
Experience managing SEO agencies or external partners
Familiarity with AEO and GEO concepts
Experience with tools like SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Search Console
Strong leadership and communication skills

Preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in DTC or insurance
Knowledge of structured data/schema
Experience managing agencies
Adaptability to evolving AI/search technologies
