Job Summary

Own end to end product marketing and licensing coordination for a Disney-branded line, balancing cross functional inputs, packaging decisions, and retailer-facing materials to drive line performance.

Cross functional ownership: align costing, design, planning, sales and licensor input to shape compelling product lines.
Market and packaging leadership: drive category research and packaging strategy to maximize shelf impact and co marketing potential.
Launch readiness and assets: manage product definitions, line lists, decks, and marketing assets for timely retailer communications.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Facilitate relationships with cross-functional internal teams (Costing, Design, Planning, Sales, HK) as well as licensor, Disney, to develop and market compelling product lines
Provide category and product-specific market research (including competitive analysis and market overviews) to improve business results and identify new business opportunities
Contribute to the planning and management of the U.S. retail distribution strategy in conjunction with key stakeholders
Manage internal product definition and item set up process, which serves as basis for bringing product lines to market; update systems on an ongoing basis for specific customer needs and as items dynamically change during the development process
Take ownership of the business by managing tools such as line lists and product decks for both internal use and ongoing communication with licensor, Disney
Work with manager to determine and implement packaging strategy, communication and ecommerce sales optimization
Interface and provide key information to licensor on an ongoing basis to keep a positive communication flow between teams
Support brand lead on the development and implementation of brand marketing strategies

Requirements

2-3 years of professional working experience
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Photoshop etc.

Preferred

Preferred experience in marketing or marketing-related function, ideally within a kid-targeted category like toys, entertainment, food, sports, video games, or another type of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) product or brand
Experience marketing products in a licensed/brand-driven context is a plus
