Job Description
- Carefully pack and ship out product samples and PR gift packages to influencers and partners, ensuring they look neat and presentable.
- Handle all incoming and outgoing mail through UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS.
- Open packages, distribute deliveries to the team, and track down any lost or delayed shipments.
- Keep an accurate count of our products, PR materials, and basic office supplies so we do not unexpectedly run out.
- Keep the storage areas, shelves, and closets organized and easy to navigate.
- Clean, wipe down, and tidy the kitchen, common areas, and meeting rooms throughout the day.
- Break down shipping boxes, take out the trash and recycling, and keep the office presentable for guests.
- Keep the kitchen stocked with snacks and coffee, and ensure common spaces have the supplies they need.
- You have some experience in a hands-on environment, such as a retail stockroom, shipping department, or office assistant role.
- You double-check addresses before shipping, notice when supplies are getting low, and care about the quality of your work.
- You are comfortable with physical work, which includes being on your feet, breaking down heavy cardboard, and lifting boxes up to 40 lbs.
- You know your way around standard spreadsheets, email, and feel comfortable learning basic shipping software.
- You have a great attitude and are just as happy tidying up the kitchen as you are organizing a major shipment.
