Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled o9 Demand Planning Consultant with strong functional and technical expertise to design, implement, and optimize demand planning solutions using the o9 platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in demand forecasting, supply chain processes, and o9 configuration.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Functional Responsibilities

• Design and implement Demand Planning solutions using the o9 platform
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
• Configure demand planning processes like Demand Forecasting, Demand Sensing, Forecast Consumption, Demand Prioritization
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define S&OP / IBP processes
• Validate planning logic and ensure alignment with business expectations
• Conduct UAT sessions and support business users during testing
• Strong understanding of Demand Planning concepts, Forecasting techniques (statistical & ML-based) and S&OP / IBP processes.
• Knowledge of Forecast accuracy metrics (MAPE, Bias) and Demand hierarchy and segmentation.

🔹 Technical Responsibilities

• Configure and customize o9 using IBPL (o9 scripting language),Procedures and action buttons and Data models and measures
• Develop and support - Demand workflows, Alerts and exception handling
• Integrate data from upstream systems (SAP, ERP, etc.)
• Troubleshoot issues related to Data loads, Forecast outputs and Planning logic
• Hands-on experience in o9 Demand Planning module, IBPL coding Data modeling and configuration
• Familiarity with SQL / Python (good to have) and Integration with SAP or other ERP systems

🔹 Implementation & Delivery

• Participate in end-to-end implementation lifecycle (Design → Build → Test → Deploy)
• Support data validation and reconciliation
• Ensure solution performance and scalability
• Provide hypercare and production support
