Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Director and Board Fundraising Committee with existing fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
• Help prepare donor outreach, campaign messages, and follow-up communications.
• Support one to two designated fundraising campaigns or special initiatives during the contract year.
• Attend monthly fundraising meetings with and periodic meetings with local foundation, and Give Local 757 initiatives
• Send donor thank-you and acknowledgement communications using information provided by NCAP.
• Assist with sponsor follow-up and recognition materials under the direction of the Executive Director.
• Maintain professional communication with donors and sponsors as assigned.
• Create or coordinate social media posts and fundraising communications weekly.
• Assist with quarterly electronic newsletters and selected promotional materials focusing on recurring donations (monthly, quarterly, or annually)
• Provide basic updates to the website, Bonterra, Give Local 757, or GiveButter fundraising pages on digital content when requested.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic experience with fundraising, communications, marketing, or nonprofit activities.
• Ability to organize assignments, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
• Commitment to the mission of Nursing CAP, Inc.
• Be able to commit to 12 hours per week for at least 12 months

Preferred

• Working knowledge of Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, PosterMywall, MailChimp, and social media platforms preferred.
