About this Role

Rosewood is looking for a creative and imaginative Motion Graphic Designer who is proficient in the world of social media. This role is a unique opportunity to drive creative direction and act as a crucial member of a fast-paced, collaborative team. This individual must have a youthful and trending eye for design, animation, and illustration. An innovative mindset and attention to detail is necessary to succeed in this role.

**This role is remote, with a preference for candidates based in Los Angeles**

Responsibilities

• Create daily animation / motion graphics content, assets, and layouts, in addition to general graphic design / static design.
• Develop daily/weekly/monthly storyboards that integrate key photography and videography with well-designed illustrations and typography.
• Design pitch and presentation decks, campaign recaps, one-sheeters, web designs, video assets, and branded documents that articulate our stories and key information in a clear manner from concept through production.
• Conceive, craft, and execute innovative ideas on time and on strategy.
• Apply brand guidelines/brand kits into motion and static design.
• Develop best practice trending content/design techniques per social platform that can extend across traditional media.
• Support Creative team to help develop campaign art direction and contribute ideas during content brainstorm sessions.
• Maintain, organize, and archive the digital library of assets.
• Share and apply information about design and social media marketing trends.
• Continually survey and discuss social media, digital and cultural trends and happenings.

Qualifications & Skills

• 3+ years of motion graphic design/animation experience, preferably in a creative agency setting.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong design craft, attention to detail, and versatility across social platforms and formats.
• Background in sports, fashion, gaming, or other culture-forward categories required.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop). As well as all aspects of video Post Production, including knowledge of editing, color grading, and mastering for delivery.
• Proficient in Keynote and Google Suite.
• Passion for drawing/sketching, typography, color theory, visual presentation development, and layout.
• Thorough understanding of all social platforms and traditional media.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $75,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually
