Job Description
The Mobile Branch Coordinator oversees the operational scheduling, deployment, and administrative duties of the mobile branch, and serves as the primary operator and driver for all event deployments. Acting as a key brand ambassador, this role drives community engagement, cultivates local partnerships, and collaborates across departments to deliver an exceptional, value-driven member experience. In addition to managing mobile operations, the coordinator will provide support to the Regional Operations Support department. The Mobile Branch Coordinator will ensure that every Member encounters a warm, welcoming, and consistently positive experience, whether interacting with the mobile branch or within branch operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and implement the deployment schedule for the mobile branch, ensuring coverage and alignment with regional community events. Coordinate vehicle logistics including fueling, routine maintenance scheduling, and ensuring the mobile unit is secure and fully operational for each deployment. Partner with branch operations, security and marketing teams to streamline logistics, vehicle maintenance, and staff scheduling for daily execution. Establish and monitor key performance indicators, analyzing transactional volume, membership growth, and community engagement to drive continuous operational improvements.
- Community Outreach: Assist in the coordination of the mobile branch, as well as actively look for ways to increase community presence. Establish rapport and maintain an effective relationship with local organizations. Develop and implement targeted outreach initiatives to achieve a maximum return and deepen relationships.
- Responsible for promoting teamwork, and emphasizing quality Member interactions. Resolves escalated Member service complaints and problems. Ensures an acceptable level of service recovery is extended.
- Mobile Branch Coordinator will function in any operational role necessary to expedite Member transactions and ensure Member wait times are minimal to include teller, new accounts, fraud processing, loan signings, wire transfers, Member research, and assisting at the Welcome Center. Assists with opening and closing the branch. Assists team members with difficult internal transactions or Member inquiries.
- Maintains a proficient knowledge of state and federal regulations and a strong knowledge of Altura Credit Union and its Affiliate’s operational procedures. Performs in accordance with all compliance issues, policies, and procedures.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or equivalent required; college preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a financial institution, with a proficient level of knowledge regarding regulations, policies, and procedures governing financial services.
- In-depth knowledge of all loan/deposit products required.
- Demonstrated ability to produce documents, spreadsheets, analytics, databases, etc. with Windows-based software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Proficiency with the Internet is also required.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while under strict deadlines and constant interruptions.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with Altura Credit Union Members, Affiliates, staff, and management.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate a large vehicle in various traffic and weather conditions.
- Strong spatial awareness and comfort handling vehicle logistics, parking, and maneuvering in public spaces.
