POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for supervising the Member Services Associates and assisting in other membership functions.

  • Starting pay is $13.00 per hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must stay current in CPRPR/AED/O2 and First Aid, renewed annually.
  • Supervise Member Service Associates.
  • Coordinate Member Services associate scheduling.
  • Assist in hiring, firing and development of Member Services Associates.
  • Manage and reconcile branch bank draft returns and daily deposits.
  • Coordinate and provide training of Member Services Associates.
  • Monitor sales goals and prepare reports as required.
  • Input membership and program information into computer.
  • Participate in Association Teams as required.
  • Assist with and participate in branch/association special events.
  • Assist with renewals, cancellations and bank drafts.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Accept and demonstrate the positive character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
  • Develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with members, donors and volunteers.
Requirements:
  • Must be certified in PR/CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid. (Training provided by the Y, if needed)
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One or more years' experience in sales or service-oriented business.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills, multi-task oriented, knowledge in hiring, customer service, sales, marketing, retention, computer skills and human relations.
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
