Responsibilities

• Help manage and maintain our Instagram and Facebook presence
• Create attractive, professional, and engaging posts, stories, short-form videos, and other social media content
• Regularly develop new content ideas to keep our social media accounts active and fresh
• Help create content highlighting our services, educational topics, promotions, and practice updates
• Monitor our social media accounts and keep an eye on engagement, messages, comments, and activity
• Help identify opportunities to increase followers, engagement, and awareness of our services
• Assist with taking appropriate photos and videos for social media content
• Help organize a simple social media/content calendar and maintain a consistent posting schedule
• Stay aware of current Instagram, Facebook, and short-form video trends that may be appropriate for a professional medical practice
• Work with the Practice Manager and clinical staff to ensure content is professional, accurate, and appropriate for a healthcare setting

Requirements

• Strong familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and social media content
• Comfortable creating posts, stories, reels/short videos, and other engaging content
• Creative and able to come up with new ideas rather than simply waiting to be given something to post
• Interested in social media, marketing, communications, healthcare, aesthetics, or a related area
• Friendly and comfortable communicating with patients and coworkers
• Reliable, responsible, and on time
• Organized and able to manage several responsibilities
• Comfortable using computers, smartphones, and common digital applications
• Willing to learn and ask questions
• Professional judgment when working with medical information and patient privacy

Preferred

• Experience managing social media for a school organization, club, small business, volunteer organization, personal project, or other account is a plus.
