Job Overview
The Medical Assistant of Social Impact will be community-facing, which includes: attending community events where the individual will complete various health screenings, blood pressure, BMI, and blood draws. The CMA acts as a practice ambassador, contributing to overall patient experience, safety, and privacy.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- New Jersey Driver’s License
- Medical Assistant Certification: AAMA, AECA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, NCMA, or NHA
- Day shift
- Monday - Friday
- Full-Time
- Night and Weekends hours are required
- Keep data on community events
- While in the community position, will promote and refer to hospital services
- When not attending community events, assist in Social Impact departments such as the JCMC Food Farmacy
- Duties will include assisting with food distribution, department intakes, stocking shelves, and interacting with patients
- Other duties as assigned
