Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Client management + communication
  • Own the success of the accounts you manage, ensuring deliverables, creating strategic direction, and meeting client’s goals and expectations
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, industry leaders, freelancers, KNB vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm in client communications
  • Offer new ideas and initiatives to the team
  • Run biweekly and ad hoc client meetings
  • Own project trackers and update them weekly
  • Onboard new clients
  • Create timelines and project trackers for new accounts
  • Client service delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a marketing or communications field
  • 5-7+ years of PR/communications experience (recovering journalists welcome)
  • Past work in health tech, and pharma, biotech, or life sciences
  • Proven proficiency securing earned placements (online, broadcast, and print)
  • Robust network of traditional and online media contacts
  • Ability to maintain and foster relationships with clients and media
  • Strategic planner and effective implementer
  • Be deadline-driven, prioritize, and adapt under pressure
  • Knowledge of best practices in communications, media, and PR
  • Superior writing skills

Preferred

  • Familiar with an agency environment
  • Working knowledge of software such as Muck Rack, Cision, PR Newswire, SEM Rush, and HubSpot
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance challenges for drug commercialization
