Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing a wide variety of marketing and multimedia functions (e.g., website, newsletters, social media, photography, videography, graphic design, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring district communication and community parent engagement outcomes.
  • Creates informative flyers, handouts, and other promotional materials using brand guidelines.
  • Assists with capturing photos and videos across school campuses to showcase events, classroom activities, and instruction, supporting the creation of engaging social media and promotional content in alignment with district branding and communication goals.
  • Utilize communication platforms and specialized software (e.g., email, social media management tools, photo/video editing programs) to create, edit, and share multimedia content with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manages district web pages through the development of content; monitors and assists schools/departments with their web page information and design in order to enhance the online experience for users.
  • Coordinates assigned projects and/or activities (e.g., presentations, etc.) for the purpose of completing projects and/or activities and/or directing services in a timely manner.
  • Works with the school-based communication liaisons to support the district communication and outreach efforts.
  • Collaborates with the Public Information Officer on district communication, marketing and engagement strategies and goals.
  • Participates in various district-level committees that promote community and employee engagement, employee recognition, and recruitment efforts.
  • Prepares a variety of reports, documents and correspondence of a confidential and non-confidential nature (e.g., social media analytics reports, website traffic summaries, etc.) for the purpose of providing documentation of activities, providing written reference, and/or conveying information in compliance with administrative guidelines and/or regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience: Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clearances: Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance, IVP (Identity Verified Print) Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Preferred

  • 60 college credits preferred
