Responsibilities

• The Media and Communications Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the strategic communication and engagement functions of the College.
• This position facilitates, fosters and maintains relationship and communications with current families, College groups and the wider community, while simultaneously managing marketing and promotions activities to families prospective to the College.
• This position requires a proactive individual who can manage a variety of administrative tasks at an advanced level, ensuring the smooth operation of our school environment.

Requirements

• A current valid Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (WWC Act) and valid Suitability Notice is a requirement of the position.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
• Australian work rights

Preferred

• Experience with marketing, content creation and social media management, such as Canva and Facebook would be advantageous
• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
