Job Description
Title: Commercial Litigation Attorney
Location: White Plains, NY
A well-established and growing full-service law firm is seeking a Matrimonial & Family Law Associate Attorney with 5–7 years of experience to join its expanding Family Law practice in White Plains, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys managing sophisticated matrimonial and family law matters in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in divorce, custody, child support, equitable distribution, and related family law matters.
- Manage cases from intake through resolution, including litigation strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, negotiations, and trial preparation.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
- Appear in Supreme Court, Family Court, and other courts throughout the tri-state area.
- Maintain strong client relationships while collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional legal service.
- Manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active New York Bar admission required
- 5–7 years of matrimonial and family law litigation experience
- Experience handling contested divorces, custody, support, and related family law matters
