Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns supporting WPSU programs, services, events, community initiatives, fundraising efforts, and organizational priorities.
  • Create compelling marketing content for email, websites, social media, digital advertising, print materials, presentations, and other communications channels.
  • Manage WPSU's social media presence through content planning, writing and asset creation, scheduling, community engagement, and performance monitoring.
  • Develop email marketing campaigns and audience communications, including regular newsletters, promotional messages, and targeted outreach.
  • Manage and maintain marketing calendars, campaign timelines, and project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with content, programming, development, education, community engagement, and other teams to identify promotional opportunities and coordinate campaigns.
  • Attend and promote WPSU in-person events and initiatives when appropriate.
  • Coordinate the development of creative assets with internal staff, designers, producers, photographers, vendors, and other partners as needed.
  • Maintain consistency with WPSU, PBS and NPR brand standards across marketing materials and channels.
  • Monitor campaign performance using web, email, social media, and other available analytics; identify trends and recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, advertising, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.
  • Experience with social media and digital marketing platforms.
