Responsibilities

• Create physical and digital marketing materials for the department.
• Assist with creating, vetting, and/or posting content for the department’s websites and social media sites.
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Events to develop and implement marketing strategies for the department.
• Assist with organization, setup, and facilitation of TAMS recruitment events.
• Coordinate, in collaboration with the Director of TAMS Admissions, recruitment efforts and presentation opportunities.
• Represent TAMS on campus for recruitment efforts and events.
• Collaborate with Director of Admissions on all elements of recruitment and marketing of the TAMS program.
• Assist the Director of Marketing and events with the planning, organization, and coordination of departmental events.
• Other duties as requested by Director of Admissions and Director of Marketing and Events

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field, or in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
• Understanding of market segmentation, principles of marketing, integrated marketing communications principles and branding.
• Ability to visually inspect copy material.
• Competency in MS Office and requisite publishing, graphic design and media tools.
• Ability to think creatively, organize tasks, work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to use Associated Press style.
• Strong communications skills.
• Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or a related field, and one year of event planning experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
