SUMMARY

The Marketing Specialist will serve several purposes: Serve as one of the point persons for Marketing to route, advise and gain timely approval of materials for internal and external key customers (ex. Sales and Marketing team, key accounts). Support customer product requirements including loading products in customer systems and aiding with general customer inquiries. Support the team with development of marketing materials, tradeshow planning, execution and day to day activities. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Product and General Marketing:

  • Support Executive Management and Directors, Marketing Managers, Assistant/Associate Managers with day to day activities and projects as needed
  • Contribute to tactical marketing plan execution 
  • Support executing/updating materials for all of marketing
    • Assist with packaging, promotional and general marketing material development
  • Interface / coordinate with internal departments for approval and production of materials - customer service, supply chain, regulatory
  • Ensure creative execution of corporate branding strategy is carried into marketing and other corporate materials
  • Assist with day to day activities including billing/budget and expense tracking, various program maintenance and upkeep, developing purchase orders
  • Assist with vendor management (receiving estimates, invoices, general follow up)
  • Coordinate fulfillment of requests with Supply Chain, Ad Agency or other vendors
  • Act as liaison to Sales Team
    • Process requests from Sales for development of sales/marketing communication materials
    • Facilitates communication between corporate and field-based employees
  • Effectively manage projects from start to timely completion
  • Other duties may be assigned

Event and Show Management:

  • Manage tradeshows, both regional and national booth development
    • Develop/design booths – 30x30 or larger, 20x20, 10x20 and 10x10
    • Coordinate with display and event agencies to execute logistics for tradeshows
    • Manage budget for national tradeshows
    • Work to implement show strategies and themes
    • Work with corporate and non-profit organizations to schedule attendance for national tradeshows
  • Ensure that platform messaging/creative is carried through into national and regional trade show participation/communication/promotion
  • Develop and manage annual National Sales Meeting for 90 plus people 
  • Actively participate in National trade events – travel up to 20%

Coordinator Requirements:

  • Route all marketing pieces for approval through internal routing system (Proquis)
    • Log requests into tracking matrix 
    • Follow up on request status from start to finish with internal functional areas such as Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Departments
    • Route requests to appropriate Marketing team member

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

Bachelor Degree (B.A) from four-year college, or university, minimum of two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, general public, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
