Responsibilities

• Write and edit content for social media, websites, email communications, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
• Create engaging stories and content that highlight the Action Center's programs, services, community impact, and participants.
• Help maintain consistent messaging and visual branding across communications.
• Design flyers, social media graphics, presentations, signage, and other print and digital materials.
• Create and edit photo and video content for marketing and social media.
• Support the development of campaign materials and promotional collateral.
• Maintain organized marketing and creative assets.
• Create, schedule, and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
• Assist with website updates and content management.
• Monitor social media and digital marketing analytics and help identify opportunities to improve engagement.

Requirements

• Educational background in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Passion for the Action Center's mission and commitment to serving our community.
• Experience creating content for social media and digital platforms.
• Experience with Canva, Squarespace, and Microsoft Office required.
• Experience updating websites and creating digital content.
• Strong visual design and storytelling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Preferred

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
• Experience with photography and videography preferred.
