Basic Description:
The Marketing Specialist, for Welding Accessories and Cutting Division, will participate and support the analysis, development, and implementation of marketing strategies to achieve profitable revenue growth. This exciting position will work closely with the Marketing Team, Product Managers, and Sales Team on developing and executing marketing initiatives for existing and new products.
How You Will Make a Difference
Collaborate and coordinate cross-functionally
  • Collaborate with marketing and product managers to execute day-to-day marketing activities across digital and print channels to build brand and product awareness.
  • Support product launch efforts through development of messaging, campaign materials, and go-to-market activities.
  • Manage marketing projects and timelines to ensure campaigns and deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Acting as primary contact for outside creative agency of record; responsible for project planning documents, editing support, and approvals ensuring accuracy and brand consistency
Support marketing strategy and drive execution
  • Execute the development of marketing assets for new and existing products such as social media and email content, literature sheets, brochures, press releases, presentations, videos, flyers, etc.
  • Prepare training and sales support materials for internal teams and distribution channels.
  • Assist with trade shows, events, and promotional activities including coordination and marketing support.
  • Reviewing and updating marketing infrastructure systems including customer-facing websites, asset databases, and internal communication tools
  • Conduct market and competitor research to support product positioning and shape campaign efforts.
Build brand awareness and communication
  • Track and analyze campaign performance and prepare routine reports and updates.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes and execution efficiency.
  • Effectively communicate marketing initiatives to internal and external audiences.
What You Need To Do To Be Successful
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable presenting and facilitating before groups.
  • Project Management: Ability to organize and manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to work well with others and build relationships among employees, distributors, and key end-users.
  • Marketing Development: Experience developing marketing campaigns from concept to execution, including positioning framework, audience identification, media strategy, and launch roadmaps.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and driven to achieve results with willingness to learn and grow. Desire to take initiative and high energy to see projects through completion.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze business issues, understand consumer needs, and formulate marketing strategies.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Creativity: Possesses a high level of creativity and innovation.
  • Technical Understanding: Ability to understand technical product lines and translate them into strategic marketing efforts.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in fast-moving environments that value adaptability and initiative.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business (emphasis in marketing preferred)
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a product based, business to business environment is preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • 20% travel
