Job Summary

Own end to end RFP and renewal processes, turning data, quotes, and market signals into client ready options and carrier strategies.

  • RFP and data orchestration: gather, validate, and issue RFPs; compile quotes and plan comparisons.
  • Renewal ownership: guide account managers on renewals, keep timelines, push timely carrier responses.
  • Market intelligence and storytelling: translate pricing, coverage, and trends into client friendly summaries and visuals for decisions.

Job Description

Responsibilities - Gather, review, and validate client data required for RFP submissions (census, plan designs, claims, contribution strategies, etc.) - Prepare and distribute Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to insurance carriers and vendor partners - Market client opportunities to appropriate carriers based on industry knowledge, underwriting appetite, and client needs - Proactively follow up with carriers to ensure timely and competitive responses - Owning the renewal pipeline by guiding Account Managers on upcoming renewals and staying on schedule with marketing timelines. - Compile, analyze, and summarize carrier quotes and plan comparisons - Develop and maintain detailed marketing spreadsheets outlining rates, plan designs, and financial impacts - Ensure a high level of accuracy in all data, identifying and resolving discrepancies quickly - Present findings in a clear, organized format for internal review and client discussions - Present marketing results and benefit options to internal stakeholders and/or clients Requirements - Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field) - 2+ years of experience in employee benefits, insurance marketing, or underwriting support - Advanced proficiency in Excel and data comparison tools - Knowledge of group benefits (medical, dental, vision, and ancillary) Benefits - Medical/dental/vision plans, which start from day one! - Life and accident insurance - 401(K) and Roth options - Tax-advantaged accounts (HSA, FSA) - Educational expense reimbursement - Paid parental leave - Digital mental health services (Talkspace) - Flexible work hours (availability varies by office and job function) - Training programs - Gallagher Thrive program – elevating your health through challenges, workshops and digital fitness programs for your overall wellbeing
