Job Description
The organizational backbone of the remodeling process; ensuring every material, fixture, and finish is specified, ordered, tracked, and delivered with precision. This role bridges Design, Project Management, and the field to keep jobsites running smoothly.
Core Focus Areas
- Material Takeoffs & Specifications — Quantify and document every finish item from plans (tile, stone, lighting, hardware, plumbing, appliances, etc.).
- Purchasing & Tracking — Request quotes, manage purchase orders, monitor lead times, and coordinate deliveries.
- Project Coordination — Partner with design and site teams to ensure materials align with schedule, budget, and design intent.
- Documentation & Systems — Maintain accurate procurement trackers, spec binders, and digital records in Asana, Google Workspace, and Dropbox.
- Vendor Management — Build relationships with reps and suppliers, resolve issues, and keep pricing and inventory data current.
- Have 3+ years in residential construction or interiors with purchasing experience.
- Are detail-oriented, calm under shifting priorities, and fluent in spreadsheets.
- Value precision, accountability, and good communication.
- Full-time, on-site in San Francisco with periodic jobsite and vendor visits
- Salary: $90,000 – $110,000
