Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Set up and configure marketing platforms for clients — email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Constant Contact), social media schedulers (Hootsuite, Later, Buffer), and analytics dashboards
  • Build and manage digital marketing campaigns across organic social, email, and paid channels (Google Ads, Meta Ads)
  • Analyze customer data, social media insights, website analytics, and campaign performance to develop audience targeting and strategy recommendations
  • Configure Google Analytics and basic tracking for client websites
  • Create content calendars, campaign frameworks, and marketing playbooks clients can execute independently
  • Build sustainability guides, templates, and training documentation for business owners
  • Support reporting with clear, non-technical performance summaries for clients
  • Deliver marketing platform setup, campaign builds, analytics configuration, and audience analysis for up to 15 small businesses over 16 weeks
  • Create customized sustainability guides and handoff documentation for each business
  • Support baseline and post-engagement auditing to document measurable improvements

Requirements

  • Experience setting up and managing marketing platforms (email, social scheduling, analytics) for small businesses or organizations
  • Comfortable building and managing Google Ads and/or Meta Ads campaigns on small budgets
  • Ability to interpret analytics data and translate it into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical business owners
  • Strong documentation and writing skills — you’ll create guides and templates that owners rely on after we’re done
  • Experience managing multiple projects or accounts simultaneously
  • Self-directed and organized — you’ll manage your own tasks within project timelines

Preferred

  • Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certifications
  • Background in content strategy or copywriting
  • Experience with Canva for template creation
  • Experience working with nonprofit or community-based organizations
