Aebly Media is a civic media platform building tools that help people form political conviction from their actual decisions.

Looking for a part-time intern to help us run things behind the scenes. This is operations and admin support — not content creation. You'd be supporting the founders directly with the kinds of tasks that make a small startup run.

Tasks may include:

• Organizing and updating our outreach CRM
• Researching potential creators, journalists, and partners
• Light scheduling and calendar coordination
• Data entry and list-building
• Helping prep materials for launches and events
• Other administrative support as needed

Specific tasks vary week to week based on what's most useful. Final scope to be discussed during the interview.

You may be a fit if you:

• Are a current student or recent grad
• Are detail-oriented and dependable
• Can take direction and work independently
• Communicate clearly and follow through
• Have interest in civic engagement, news, media, or startups
• Are based in or near San Diego (preferred but not required)

Compensation:

• $17-20/hour, paid hourly
• 5-10 hours per week, schedule flexible
• Paid via direct deposit through our payroll system
• LinkedIn-worthy title and recommendation letter when you leave
