Job Summary

Own and evolve Kendall Hunt Higher Ed marketing visuals and content, turning campaigns into cohesive social storytelling across platforms with a focus on video, design assets, and event presence.

  • Collaborate with marketing to concept campaigns and produce platform-specific social content, including video, graphics, and captions.
  • Own visual identity across social channels and materials, ensuring cohesive storytelling and on-brand assets.
  • Coordinate content operations, calendar management, performance monitoring, and collaboration with events to support campaign goals.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Higher Ed marketing team to concept, design, and execute creative campaigns across multiple disciplines
  • Develop and produce engaging, platform-specific content for social media (including graphics, captions, and short-form video)
  • Own the visual identity and consistency of social media channels, ensuring brand alignment across all content
  • Plan, create, and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) to support campaign goals and increase engagement
  • Design a wide range of marketing materials, including sales collateral, catalogs, advertisements, email graphics, and digital assets
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to translate marketing strategies into compelling visual storytelling
  • Manage and maintain a social media content calendar, including scheduling and publishing posts
  • Monitor social media performance metrics and optimize content based on engagement and analytics insights
  • Support trade shows and events by designing and producing signage, booth graphics, and promotional materials
  • Coordinate with the marketing team and event manager to ensure cohesive visual presence at conferences and events

Requirements

  • An intermediate understanding of design and print collateral
  • Proficient in using various technologies (computers, tablets, cell phones, social media apps) with the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Proficient and applied knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software; Word Processing software
  • Familiarity with both PC and Macintosh environments as well as knowledge with Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Positive and can-do attitude toward work
  • Available to work out of our Dubuque, Iowa home office

Preferred

  • Budgeting experience or familiarity with budget preparation
  • Experience designing signage and promotional materials for trade shows and events
  • Familiarity with social media platforms beyond basics
