Job Summary

Own and drive the marketing strategy for concerts and programming, coordinating digital, print, social, and email campaigns while tracking outcomes and reporting to leadership.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual and concert-specific marketing plans, with support and input from the Managing Director and marketing committee
  • Implement campaigns to increase ticket sales and community visibility.
  • If applicable, create and oversee a marketing committee.
  • Digital Marketing - Work directly with the Managing Director and Webmaster to update and maintain the organization’s website content.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar for all media platforms.
  • Create engaging social media posts, graphics, videos, and event promotions.
  • Coordinate with VP, Patrons to manage email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
  • Programming and Events - Lead marketing efforts for concert programs, special events, and fundraising activities.
  • Coordinate promotional materials including flyers, posters, and digital ads. Assist with concert programs as needed.
  • Develop audience and membership acquisition and retention campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Arts Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience, or 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or nonprofit promotion.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and email marketing tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred

  • Experience in nonprofit, arts, performing arts, or cultural organizations.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
  • Experience with website content management systems (WordPress preferred).
  • Knowledge of donor management/email platforms such as Network for Good.
  • Basic understanding of digital advertising and analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of social media platform scheduling tools such as Metricool or HootSuite.
