Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Help turn brand and campaign ideas into finished work across social, digital, email, retail and events.
  • Run our day-to-day content calendar and help keep House of Rare interesting without turning it into a content factory.
  • Coordinate photographers, designers, creators, freelancers and other creative partners.
  • Help produce tastings, dinners, launches and other brand experiences in Los Angeles and our key markets.
  • Manage the practical side of our digital marketing, including email/SMS, Shopify, website updates and basic reporting.
  • Support our sales and distribution partners with the materials and marketing they need in market.
  • Keep projects moving, identify what needs to happen next, and increasingly take projects from brief through completion.

Requirements

  • We’re imagining someone with roughly 2–4 years of marketing or hospitality experience, although we’re more interested in what you’ve actually done than the exact number of years on your résumé.
  • Experience with a spirits or wine company, restaurant or hospitality group, creative agency, luxury/lifestyle brand, experiential company or growing consumer brand could all be relevant.
  • You should be a digitally fluent, visually literate, and quick on the uptake.
  • Experience with platforms such as Shopify, Omnisend or another email platform, Meta, Google Analytics, Canva, Adobe or Figma is useful. You don’t need to know all of them.
  • Experience in wine or spirits is a plus, but curiosity about the category matters more.

Preferred

  • You’re a strong writer and a good editor.
  • You’re organized enough to run a production schedule but don’t need a process manual before you start something.
  • You’re comfortable moving between creative and practical work.
  • You want ownership.
