Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule social media content and engage with our online community
  • Capture authentic photo and video stories at classrooms, family events, and other Growing Futures activities
  • Assist with volunteer group coordination and support community engagement efforts
  • Represent Growing Futures at local networking events, including Johnson County Chamber of Commerce gatherings
  • Support the Marketing Coordinator and broader development team with communications and fundraising activities

Requirements

  • Interest in early childhood education, nonprofit work, or serving the community
  • Comfortable taking photos and videos and engaging with children, families, and community members
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Organized, dependable, proactive, and willing to take initiative
  • Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn preferred

Preferred

  • Canva or basic photo-editing experience is a plus
