Job Description Why Join Altec? Altec’s Marketing Department in Birmingham, AL is seeking an eager marketing intern to support our teams with graphic design and asset management. The ideal candidate has a background in Adobe’s suite of products, strong verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills and a desire to assist and improve existing processes. We need a go-getter looking to gain more experience in the field by assisting with group projects as well as managing and executing some self-started projects with guidance from the team. This will be a paid internship opportunity working between 20-40 hours per week. Required Skills Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills Well-versed with Microsoft programs Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively Ability to work both in teams and independently Ability to meet project deadlines consistently Qualifications Must be a full-time student or recent graduate from an accredited 4-year college or university majoring in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Business.
