Job Summary

Assist in building a lean marketing function for an environmental solutions company by owning content and social execution, informing campaigns with industry and DOT hotspot insights, and supporting multi-channel campaigns with data-driven tweaks.

  • Content and Social: create posts, articles, and visuals and manage social channels for engagement and performance.
  • Market Intelligence: research industry trends and construction hotspots to guide campaigns and growth opportunities.
  • Campaign Support and Analytics: help plan, run, and track campaigns across email, digital ads, and events, then analyze results to optimize future efforts.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Assist in developing engaging content for digital platforms, including social media posts, blog articles, and website updates, to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
  • Social Media Management: Support in managing and monitoring social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram) by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, customer demographics, and construction / DOT hotspots to inform marketing strategies and identify potential opportunities for growth.
  • Campaign Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns across various channels, including email marketing, digital advertising, and promotional events.
  • Graphic Design: Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics, infographics, and other marketing materials to communicate key messages effectively.
  • Data Analysis: Help analyze marketing data and metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and generate insights for optimizing future initiatives.
  • Administrative Tasks: Provide general administrative support to the marketing department, such as organizing files, managing databases, and coordinating meetings or events.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor\'s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Construction or Agricultural related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and data analysis software is a plus.
