Job Description
Responsibilities
- Conduct market, industry, competitive, and customer research to identify growth opportunities and support strategic business decisions.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain intelligence on markets, customers, and competitors to support product development, sales, marketing, and leadership initiatives.
- Gather and interpret Voice of Customer feedback through interviews, surveys, and stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor market dynamics, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact business performance.
- Build and maintain a centralized market intelligence knowledge base and leverage research tools, databases, and AI-powered resources.
- Respond to research requests from leadership and cross-functional teams and present findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
- Continuously enhance market intelligence processes and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred.
- 5 -10 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment or a related field with 3+ years experience as a business analyst or market intelligence preferred.
- Experience in market intelligence, competitive intelligence, market research, strategic planning, product marketing, business analysis, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to synthesize large volumes of information into concise, actionable recommendations.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and business productivity software.
- Experience using AI-enabled research tools while applying sound judgment to validate findings.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau or other business analytics and visualization tools a plus!
