Responsibilities

• This is a fall semester internship.
• Assist with planning, implementation and follow-up for all special events.
• Assist with fundraising programs as necessary (secure in-kind donations, promotions, and other duties).
• Coordinate volunteers.
• Assist with photography and video projects for website and communication materials.
• Assist with social media content entry and scheduling for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
• Create short videos for social media.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in community events, festivals, tradeshows marketing informational booth.
• Participate in holiday parades, float design/creation.

Requirements

• Studies in the field of Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, and Public Relations; Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and good driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
• Must pass a BCI background check.
• Must remain in compliance with all regulatory standards governing program services, including appropriate trainings.
• Must not be a registered offender on the ODDD Abuse and Neglect Register or the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Abuser Register.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must have applied skills in including but not limited to: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point) and Canva.
• Experience on Social Media Platforms –Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, etc.

Preferred

• Experience with photography/video equipment and development of videos for website helpful.
• Polished, professional image.
