Responsibilities

• Social Media & Content
• Manage Consignment House Gallery’s social media presence.
• Photograph new and existing inventory for social media and online use. Edit and prepare photographs for posts, stories, and other digital content.
• Create basic video content and reels.
• Develop content ideas and recurring features that fit our brand and audience.
• Respond to social media messages and comments as appropriate.
• Maintain consistency with the gallery’s established brand and marketing direction.
• Website & E-Commerce
• Manage and update the Consignment House Gallery website.
• Manage the Shopify store, including creating and editing product listings, uploading and organizing photographs, writing product descriptions, optimizing SEO titles and descriptions, organizing products and collections, and updating homepage and other website content.

Requirements

• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good written communication skills.
• Comfort learning new software and digital tools.
• A strong visual sense and ability to recognize what makes a piece visually interesting.
• Reliability and flexibility.
• Ability to work in the gallery at least once a week for photography and video content, particularly to capture new arrivals.
• Willingness to work occasional retail shifts.

Preferred

• Experience managing social media for a business or organization.
• Photography and photo-editing experience.
• Experience creating short-form video/Reels.
• Shopify experience.
• Website management experience.
• Experience with Resaleworld/Liberty or similar inventory software.
• Basic SEO knowledge.
• E-commerce or online merchandising experience.
• Retail experience.
• Background or education in art, art history, design, photography, or a related field.
