Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy: Work with management to develop and execute a marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, identify market opportunities, customer segments, and competitive positioning to drive expansion into a target market.
  • Market Research: Lead ongoing market research to assess industry trends and the competitive landscape and translate this research into actionable insights for sales strategies and decision-making.
  • Content Development: Create high-quality whitepapers, blogs, case studies, and industry reports that articulate the value proposition across different verticals.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to understand drivers and adapt marketing solutions to meet corporate growth objectives.
  • Campaigns: Execute strategic marketing campaigns through multi-channel platforms that drive lead generation and brand awareness.
  • Branding and Engagement: Ensure consistent positioning and messaging of GLI Secure across all channels, elevate the brand, and represent the company at industry events and with strategic partners.
  • Marketing ROI and Sales Alignment: Define and report on marketing performance metrics, including campaign ROI, conversion rates, and sales outcomes in partnership with the sales team; use CRM, marketing automation, and campaign performance data to connect marketing activity to sales results.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Develop, manage, and monitor marketing budgets, ensuring responsible allocation of resources across campaigns, events, content, and strategic initiatives.
  • Agency and Vendor Oversight: Manage external marketing agencies and vendor partners to ensure deliverables, timelines, and brand standards are met.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 8 + years of progressive experience in marketing new business development/market diversification is required.
  • 4 + years of experience in marketing cybersecurity, information security, or highly technical B2B services.
  • Must have a strong understanding of cyber risk, security testing methodologies, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Must have experience leading marketing research initiatives and translating insights into strategy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Must have demonstrated professionalism, including while working under pressure.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines, while maintaining a realistic balance among priorities.
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.

Preferred

  • Background working in regulated industries.
  • Experience supporting global organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • HubSpot and CRM experience is a plus.
