Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit content across all channels, including emails, newsletters, press releases, social media and advertising, websites, publications, and print and digital materials;
  • Proofread and edit content for clarity, grammar, consistency, and accuracy, including basic fact-checking and coordinating internal approvals (SMEs, leadership) when needed;
  • Help manage content requests through intake, drafting, stakeholder review, revisions, and final delivery to ensure quality, accuracy, and on-time completion;
  • Apply established brand voice, tone, and style standards across marketing channels;
  • Partner with product/sales teams and subject matter experts to translate business goals into effective messaging;
  • Ghostwrite content for C-level executives and subject matter experts;
  • Manage public relations vendor and strategy; coordinate interviews and commentary and ensure KPIs are met;
  • Contribute to the creation of advertising materials, including relationship building emails, meetings, and events campaigns, and other sales and marketing resources;
  • Make recommendations for improvements, edits, changes, and updates to design and copy where appropriate;
  • Support testing and reviews of digital content, including emails, social media posts etc.;

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational/time-management skills;
  • Ability manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast=paced environment
  • Exemplary written and verbal communications skills;
  • Strong marketing and communications instincts including optimization for performance across channels;
  • Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills;
  • Problem-solving, brainstorming, and willingness to both collaborate and work independently;
  • Ability to understand and express complex concepts and issues in terms understandable to wide audiences;
  • Ability to use performance insights to improve copy and messaging;
  • Vendor management;
  • Detail oriented, professional, self-starter with desire to contribute and make a positive team impact;

Preferred

  • Experience supporting or executing marketing campaigns;
  • Experience optimizing content for SEO/GEO/AEO;
  • Interest in higher education theory, policy, or research.
