Job Description

Responsibilities
  • The Marketing Coordinator / Ops Administrator supports the execution of Vertin's digital marketing strategy across corporate and funeral home brands and provides administrative support to the EVP, Operations & Market Development. This role is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of digital initiatives, including website updates, social media execution, content creation, and digital engagement efforts. Additionally, the role will provide meeting support and complete administrative tasks in support of the operations leadership team.
  • Working closely with the Digital Marketing & Communications Manager, this individual will contribute to strategy development while primarily focusing on execution. This role is ideal for a developing marketing professional who wants hands-on experience across multiple digital channels.

  • Execute digital marketing campaigns across email, social media, and web platforms
  • Support ongoing development and refinement of digital marketing strategies
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve digital engagement and performance
  • Maintain working knowledge of digital marketing tools, platforms, and best practices
  • Digital Brand Engagement
  • Support digital engagement efforts across funeral home locations and corporate channels
  • Assist in managing and responding to social media interactions, comments, and messages
  • Help develop and deploy content that strengthens engagement with families and communities
  • Collaborate with local funeral homes to ensure consistent and effective use of digital channels
  • Support email marketing and nurture campaigns through platforms such as HubSpot
  • Website Management & Execution
  • Perform routine updates to corporate and funeral home websites (content, images, pages)
  • Assist with basic web development tasks and site enhancements
  • Support SEO initiatives and ensure website content aligns with best practices
  • Monitor website performance and assist with reporting on key metrics
  • Help manage online listings (Google Business Profiles, bios, etc.)
  • Social Media Execution (Corporate & Local Brands) - Create, schedule, and publish social media content across platforms• Support both corporate brand channels and individual funeral home accounts• Assist in developing content such as posts, graphics, and short-form videos• Monitor performance and recommend optimizations based on engagement data• Ensure consistency with brand voice and social media best practices- Content Creation & Communications- Assist with internal and external communications supporting funeral homes- Contribute to content calendars and campaign planning- Support development of marketing materials and digital assets- Reporting, Analytics & Project Coordination- Track and report on key digital marketing metrics (social, web, email)- Assist in analyzing performance and identifying trends or opportunities- Support project management to ensure initiatives are completed on time- Help organize marketing data, surveys, and campaign results- Operations Administrative Support- Assist in the planning and execution of meetings for the operations leadership team- Conduct analysis and/or compile reporting as directed by the EVP, Operations- Update metrics for marketing and operations on a monthly basis as directed- Perform administrative and support tasks as required for business development efforts
