Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Athletics Marketing Coordinator will support the marketing office in their efforts enhance the fan experience in effective and creative ways while generating revenue and advancing the Carolina Athletics brand.
  • The marketing coordinator position will be primarily responsible for the development and execution of marketing plans for a combination of the following sport programs: Baseball, Field Hockey, Gymnastics, Women’s Lacrosse, Women’s Soccer, Softball, Volleyball and Wrestling aimed at increasing attendance as well as generating revenue via ticket, concessions, and merchandise sales at home contests.
  • This position will work closely with Go Heels Productions, Tar Heel Sports Properties, event management, facilities, spirit groups, coaches, and sport administrators to coordinate an optimal in venue fan experience for Tar Heel fans.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in collegiate sports marketing.
