Overview

SUMMARY:

MBP is looking for a Marketing Coordinator who will be responsible for independently coordinating and producing proposals, statements of qualifications, introductory packages, and shortlist interview presentations.  For this position, we seek candidates who will manage pursuits from kickoff through delivery, providing leadership on compliance, quality control, and MBP Style Guide standards. Collaborates with business development, technical staff, and leadership, and incorporates lessons learned from past proposals and debriefs to strengthen future efforts.

Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Independently manages proposals, SOQs, capabilities packages, and shortlist interview presentations
  • Reviews and interprets complex RFPs, develops compliance matrices, schedules, and QC checklists
  • Collaborates with technical staff, business development, and leadership to develop content, win themes, and pursuit strategies
  • Writes, edits, and tailors resumes, project descriptions, and firm profiles
  • Coordinates with teaming partners and subconsultants on pursuit materials
  • Maintains and updates Deltek Vantagepoint database with accurate project and resume information
  • Facilitates proposal go/no-go, kickoff, pink/red team reviews, and debrief meetings
  • Ensures win themes are consistently reinforced throughout proposals and presentations
  • Uses Joist AI to streamline compliance reviews, generate tailored content, and organize proposal drafts efficiently
  • Monitors RFP websites as directed and routes opportunities to business development and service leaders
  • Oversees proposal assembly, including printing, binding, shipping, and delivery

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:

  • Proven experience coordinating proposals for government agencies and private clients; AEC industry background strongly preferred
  • Experience preparing Federal SF 330, state, and local proposal formats desired
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite; Deltek Vantagepoint experience (or similar CRM environment) desired
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple pursuits simultaneously under tight deadlines

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Advanced writing, editing, and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
  • Ability to analyze complex RFPs
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint preferred
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and OneDrive environments

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, English, or related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
