Job Summary

Own the school’s outward voice and enrollment growth by shaping integrated marketing, digital presence, and community engagement that unify branding and parent-community communication.

  • Brand & Enrollment: Drive awareness and enrollment through coordinated campaigns, content, and events that connect families to the school’s programs.
  • Digital Presence: Lead the website and social channels to maintain cohesive branding and messaging across platforms.
  • Community & Systems: Strengthen relationships with families and staff through scalable outreach and communication systems.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • driving brand awareness and supporting enrollment growth by developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive marketing and communication strategies.
  • ensures high-quality, creative, and consistent digital and print representation that strengthens the school’s public image, culture, and visibility.
  • manages the school website through a shared departmental model, leads social media strategy, oversees marketing campaigns, and develops content that ensures cohesive branding and messaging across all platforms.
  • plays a key role in outreach and community engagement, including events such as Open House and Curriculum Showcase, and supports scalable communication systems that strengthen relationships with families, staff, and the broader community.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent college coursework in a related field
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a related field or position, including experience coordinating processes, projects, or programs
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and virtual communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Chat, or similar tools)
  • SB 484 Verification
  • Background Clearance
  • Tuberculosis Clearance (Risk Assessment or Skin Test)
  • I-9 Verification (Appropriate US Work Permits as required)
  • Complete Required Mandatory Trainings for School Employees

Preferred

  • Experience working at The Cottonwood School
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
