Job Summary

Own content creation and cross-department marketing operations for a community organization, turning multi-channel content and assets into consistent storytelling, while coordinating campaigns, events, and analytics to drive engagement.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Storytelling: Write and edit engaging content for websites, emails, social posts, and digital/print materials
  • Print collateral and digital assets: Assist with the creation and coordination of print collateral and digital marketing assets
  • Plasma screen content: Help create and manage content for plasma displays across the organization
  • Cross-department branding: Collaborate with teams to gather content and ensure brand consistency
  • Story development: Identify and share stories about programs, community members, staff, and impact
  • Media production support: Coordinate photography and video needs for campaigns and events
  • Website content: Update and maintain website information to be accurate and engaging
  • Email marketing: Assist in drafting content, building campaigns, scheduling, and tracking performance
  • Social media planning: Support content creation, scheduling, and engagement tracking
  • Paid campaigns support: Assist in creating and managing paid search and social campaigns

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: College degree required in marketing/communications or related field; 1-3 years in content creation or digital marketing
  • Tools & platforms: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva, social platforms, and email tools; WordPress/ CMS a plus
  • Storytelling & design: Strong visual and written storytelling with attention to detail
  • Content translation: Ability to convert ideas into engaging digital content aligned with branding
  • Organization & analytics: Highly organized with comfort using Google Analytics and social insights

Preferred

  • WordPress or CMS experience
  • Google Analytics and social insights familiarity
  • Basic graphic design skills using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • A proactive team player willing to support evolving marketing needs
