Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with case managers, social workers, shelters, reentry programs, veterans’ organizations, churches, and other community referral sources.
• Contact and visit local organizations to introduce our program and share information about available housing.
• Create and distribute flyers and other promotional materials.
• Promote the business through social media and appropriate community platforms.
• Respond professionally to inquiries and follow up with prospective residents and referral partners.
• Coordinate house tours and connect interested applicants with the owner.
• Keep accurate records of outreach activities, contacts, inquiries, and referral sources.
• Provide weekly updates on outreach efforts, results, and opportunities.
• Represent the business professionally and protect applicants’ and residents’ privacy.

Requirements

• Strong communication, networking, and customer service skills.
• Organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
• Comfortable making outreach calls, visiting community organizations, and following up consistently.
• Basic social media, email, and computer skills.
• Ability to travel locally for outreach activities.
• Experience in marketing, community outreach, housing, leasing, or social services preferred.
• Familiarity with resources in Durham, Raleigh, and surrounding communities is a plus.
