Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage Holton’s social media channels to reflect campus life and align with the School’s values and brand
  • Develop and execute a social media plan to maximize reach and engagement with key audiences
  • Serve as the primary photographer for campus events
  • Maintain and update the School’s website, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding
  • Support the School’s digital strategy and advertising efforts
  • Assist with graphic design for multiple areas of the School
  • Monitor and analyze performance using Google Analytics and social media metrics
  • Create compelling written, visual and digital content that advances Holton’s narrative and highlights the student experience
  • Partner with faculty and staff across divisions to identify, develop, and amplify stories across the School
  • Serve as a trusted communications partner to departments across campus

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in communications, marketing, design, or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of relevant work experience
  • Strong working knowledge of social media strategies and experience managing multiple platforms
  • Excellent photography skills, video experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of website management and content creation
  • Graphic design experience
  • Experience with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and website content management systems (e.g., Finalsite or similar)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
