Job Description

Responsibilities

  • This hands-on role is designed for a creative and detail-oriented professional who will support community engagement, digital storytelling, and organizational communications.
  • You will manage Veggielution's CRM system, drive social media efforts, and coordinate closely with program and administrative staff to ensure all outreach reflects our mission and community-centered approach.

Requirements

  • Bilingual: Spanish-English or Vietnamese-English bilingual/biliterate.
  • Mission-Driven: deep passion for advancing racial, economic, and social justice in immigrant and working-class communities.
  • Creative & Independent: ability to test new ideas and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptable: comfortable with a non-conventional mix of office and outdoor work and enjoy interacting with visitors in a farm setting.
  • CRM Expertise: ability to maintain and optimize systems to track community members, volunteers, and engagement metrics.
  • Marketing Flair: experience managing social media platforms, creating e-newsletters, and updating website content via Squarespace.
  • Storytelling Skills: knack for gathering assets like photos and quotes to highlight organizational impact.
  • Group Coordination: skills to facilitate outreach, scheduling, and follow-up for workshops and volunteer opportunities.
  • Technical Proficiency: strong skills in Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
