Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and publish engaging, accessible content for the website, articles, newsletters, social media, email campaigns, and other digital channels.
  • Manage Ability Central’s social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, including content planning, publishing, monitoring, and performance tracking.
  • Develop and execute integrated campaigns supporting programs, workshops, grantmaking, resources, partnerships, and organizational initiatives.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional communications, audience segmentation, testing, and performance analysis.
  • Coordinate website and Resource Library content, landing pages, SEO, and updates through Statamic CMS and our external web developer.
  • Manage and optimize Ability Central’s Google Ad Grant, including campaigns, keywords, ad copy, performance, and compliance.
  • Coordinate video and multimedia content, including YouTube, social video, captions, ASL, and external production vendors.
  • Track performance across website, social, email, organic search, and paid search and translate results into actionable recommendations.
  • Apply accessibility and inclusive communication practices across digital content, imagery, language, and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with staff, partners, contributors, and vendors while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience managing social media, email marketing, website content, and digital campaigns.
  • Experience using analytics to evaluate performance and improve marketing efforts.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience with or interest in accessibility, inclusive communications, and mission-driven work.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small team and external partners.

Preferred

  • Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Ads/Google Ad Grants, Statamic or another CMS, ActiveCampaign or another email marketing platform, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook/Meta, YouTube, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.
